Heartfelt Greetings!
I’ve had to
give up some things lately, other priorities pushed their way shoving aside my fun time and, well I’m sure everyone knows how that goes. Throw in a computer failure and I had to limp along until I could replace it and my time on Gameful has really suffered, so I’m sorry for that. I’m happy to say I now have things under control and have my new computer so yay can get back in the groove. Did you miss me?
I missed everyone
which speaks to the sense of community I found here. Wonderful caring monsters who will be guiding the new way of learning by creating games for social benefit. Just imagine the change for the good which will happen all because we were given a platform to connect and share. Inspiring!
I borrowed time
to have the HUGM 3rd ever in the world group hug and yay the next one will be end of June, but will set a different time.
The GUEMs
have been going along I see, and I’ll get them rallied again. Still not word on the end date but it’s coming up in the next few weeks. Good work to all who participated and I am certain you learned something from playing Urgent Evoke. We’ll be ready when they release Season 2 that’s for sure!
I have to
take it easy, so will keep this short but wanted to pop in and wave a hearty hi to all my friends. Never forget how lucky we are and hugs across the wires to all

Hearty Greetings Fellow Monsters
As team leader, it is with great pride and pleasure I present to you the mighty GUEMs who have signed up to be trained as MegaHero Social Innovators by playing Urgent Evoke Season 1.5 as a team.
What started as a hunch that there might be some interest if I applied to Evoke to enter a team of Gameful Monsters has exceeded beyond my dreams; we represent 18 countries covering 6 continents. Exciting potential!
It is a diverse team with many challenges, and I think it’s quite fun we’re playing a game within a game within a game. Between the Treats and Runes and GUEMGummies we are on our way to, not just learning how to “think global act local”, but will make change in the world towards good in life for all; all actions, especially small individual actions count. Wonderful!
We will be MegaHero Social Innovators and for this we have Jane McGonigal and her team behind the scenes to thank for Evoke and Gameful. Jane is changing the way people think about gamers and her aspirations are for someone to win the Nobel Prize for making a game. What an opportunity for everyone in Gameful and won’t that be something! Thank you Jane!

Hearty Greetings,
I’m ready for the first in the world ever group hug of Gameful Monsters, in Second Life tomorrow morning at 6:00 AM Pacific Time which is the same as Vancouver time, check the world clock to convert to your time.
I’ve got the sign up, the dances out (bunny hop and a wonderful little line dance jig) and oh my today found a Group Hug animation so we can really do this for the photo op for those who wish to have a group hug. Otherwise you can still join in, stand around and look cool
That’s me on the welcome sign with the bunnies waiting just for us HUGMs

Heart Greetings!
A circle is closing.
A friend
or ‘griend’ as I like to say, whom I’ve never met but we are connected at the heart virtually in Second Life, mentioned Urgent Evoke, a new game that she was playing. So I signed up.
Little did I know
it would be the same as the one my griend and I were playing in that we do serious work, make meaningful connections and have fun along the way.
That led me
here to Gameful where again, it’s the same for me. Playing a meaningful and fun game while connecting with like-minded people.
So today
I found out my team entry for the Gameful Urgent Evoke Monsters (GUEM) team was accepted and now a bunch of us will be roaring over at Evoke.

on Saturday March 26 at 06:00 AM Pacific Time I’ll be dancing up a storm in Second Life with the Hug Ur Gameful Monsters (HUGM) group to celebrate. Join us for a group hug, details in the group posts.

Just Talked to a Developer about making the game prototype for our ”Monster collection and Battle Game” (Ill announce the real name when the legal stuff is cleared) with me, their skills seem promising. Hopefully I can get this extra funding I will need to make the prototype which I will then showcase on Kickstarter, our website, and a few other places. If anyone has any ideas where I could find some early investments to get the funding together for this prototype let me know, I’m all ears. and if anyone thinks they might be interested please feel free to contact me so we can talk more.
