    Hello Gamers!

My name’s Adam Glinglin aka MobilisinMobili and I’m volunteering for gameful to work on the Game of the Week feature and we’d welcome your suggestions!

    We’re looking for games that

    a) are free / have a free playable component
    b) improve the world / improve your own personal skills

If you have a game that you think matches these please post the name of the game, a link to where it’s playable (or instructions for non-online games), and how you think it improves the world or your skills.

I’ll be personally donating treats to the first suggestion of any game that isn’t already on my list.

Thanks for your help. Share the wealth!

It’s about a year old, but I think game “Light Bot 2.0″ is a great introduction to programming concepts like functions, recursion, and conditionals. You arrange a series of command tiles to make a robot move and complete tasks.

It’s an interactive introduction for kids or adults who want to understand the basic elements that make up a computer program.

Along the same lines, I like RubyMonk.com as a gameful introduction to the Ruby programming language.

I like games like Minecraft and Atmosphir because they don’t really need any programming experience, yet they can create advanced games using things like teleporters, springboards, and 2D-3D fusion.

Great ideas luke! What game design questions would you be interested in hearing from our community about them?
