Phantasy Star 4: it made me realize as a child that a game could have a long and meaningful story
Zelda Link’s Awakening: i’m normally not a fan of zelda games, but this one introduced me to the whole concept of things not being what they seem
Silent Hill: The first game where i had experienced a strong undertone of religious implications without it being explicitly stated, and gave me a sense that things can be happening in the game world without anyone knowing what or why thy happen |
