Anything else you want to say about the kinds of projects or people or organizations you’d like to work with?
I'd like to work to create a game that would help transition young adults from confusion to confidence.
Student debt is a formidable cost that too often young people take on without serious contemplation. Young high school graduates are fantastic at asking the question, "What should I do," but are terrible at answering the question, "What do you WANT to do?"
I'd like to create an education and career life-coaching game, that for players would have the happy by-product of self-discovery. More important than just unnecessary debt-sentence prevention, this also is about improving the future well-being of society as a whole.
We have too many unhappy workers: too many people wasting their lives at jobs that make them barely engaged so that they can barely make ends meet.
We live in a world in desperate need of people who care... and we also live in a world full of people in desperate need of something to care about. And there is hope.
Games you’ve worked on ...
None yet! But I'm currently putting together a small group to start experimenting with crowd games.
What abilities would you bring to a collaboration?
Leadership and creative problem-solving.
Currently at a young age (19) I am running a coworking space for entrepreneurs in my mid-sized city. It involves a lot of strategizing and community organizing, and it's a heck of a lot of fun!
Three games you’ve played that have changed your life:
Journey for the PS3
(it put me in-touch with my spirituality)
(greatly improved my navigation skills!)
Super Mario Brothers for the Wii
(it brought my family closer together)
