Games for Gameful

Why doesn't gameful have games to play like other popular social networking sites, or does it? Let's make and play some! Maybe they could be worth site points. At the very least, they could bring us together as a group. First game, what image should be used for this group? 15 group points to the winner! See More

Eric S. Miller replied to Eric S. Miller's discussion What are your favorite health games? in the group Health and Games, or Health in Games
"Oh yes! I'm glad you mentioned that. I've been meaning to try MapMyRun. I think that kind of tool can end up being a springboard for interesting games. I mean, it's like a game interface without a story. Have you tried Wii Fit Plus?…"

Luis Antón replied to Eric S. Miller's discussion What are your favorite health games? in the group Health and Games, or Health in Games
"That's a good question. At first I thought I would love Wii Fit, but then I found it incredibly SLOW. And I'm not talking about exercises, but all transitions between them. I ended up hating it because I was simply wasting my time :…"

What are everyone favorite health games?I would list: Superbetter, Fitocracy, Wii Fit Plus, Wii Sports Resort, and Wii Sports. I also like to go to the gym and imagine each machine is a game. I call it going to the imaginasium. See More

Health and Games, or Health in Games

By using game mechanics in therapy for heart patients, teaching young diabetics to estimate carbs, help ritualize the keeping of journals for chronically ill patients, shortening feedback loops, increasing collaboration and putting a smile on the face of poor sods (I am one, I may say so  ) – this group will change the world.First one to release, gets a beer at the next meetup!See More
