Hey Community,

I read through a lot of good ideas!

like:

- The Warcraft concenpt

- The Educational aspect

- The Self improvement aspect

- Games without coding

What I am looking for is something really big. I believe that games like WoW etc. are just this successful because there is such a big community. And this community growth since the last years so tremendous because there is real fun and eagerness to play this game. I want this in real live. I want a participation that there will be no resident on earth who do not know this game. And again, I am not talking about a 100% video game.

Which kind of thoughts come to your mind if you read this? I am very excited to read your comments.

Wishes,

Chris

I like the way you think!

And I have just the game you are looking for! It is about getting a big community playing together in real life. It is new, and young entrepreneurs are wanted.
some tags: gamification, real life, income, networking, fun, exciting

I don´t want to write it all hear in the comment field, but if you want to know how it works, don´t hesitate sending me a message, and we can take it from there.

gaming in real life is possible, and it is awesome!

I like this question on a theoretical level at the moment. Every AAA game out there shoots towards THE game (a la WoW or GTA) status and only few achieve. More often than not a true long lasting greatness is usually contributed to dumb luck of chance in addition to hard work...

But on a theoretical level I'd say a game which can rival facebook AND google at the same time can be counted as something Big, no? Obviously it's something where building communities is an integral part of it and the ability to effectively crawl through huge amounts of data stored on super clusters all around the world.

The rest should just fall into place :)

Hahah =D

No it is okay, fair question.

So far I haven`t contributed to a gamification project. But I am not total new to the business.

- Founder of a start up for education in networks (Still running great)

- Passionate gamer and exhibition contributor (Games Com)

- considerable network to the entertainment industry

- Write business plans to raise funds

Besides I have some ideas but I want to have a reliable network to publish it and to discuss the possibilities. But I guess you are totally right. I do not have real experiences in gamification startups. Do you know some project regarding gamification in real life where I can take part?

Thanks a lot

May I ask what successful gamification project you previously contributed to? I don't mean to be harsh, but the game design community usually hears from IDEA people all the time, with no coding experience and no funding.  You are the first in my experience with no idea, no coding skills, and no funding. Maybe you are looking to join a project that has already started looking for your skills?

Hi Scott,

thank you very much for you comment and your invitations on Linkedin and Twitter.

Basically I have some skills in analytics, gamification and sales. But I also have some rough ideas of how such a game can look like. Now time runs out and I would be totally destroyed if we do not use this momentum of our generation and one day we wake up and realize that we were not brave enough to ride this wave.

So as you may see I believe that there is a lot of potential regarding this topic at this moment. I actually do not have the recipe. I want to collaborate with various people to shape and refine the concept to aim for this vision and build up a strong team who is able to code this.

So the first step for me is to find more reliable and engaged people. - I would be glad if you were part of this team - and then we need to start a structured discussion. So I am looking forward to read more posts on this comment until we have something to work with.

What do you think about this?

Best wishes,

Chris

As big as WOW? That's pretty ambitious. From this post and your linkedin account and twitter feed, it seems you are coming from an analytics background?  So basically you need coders, idea people and funding?  Or do you come to the table with one or more of the previous 3 skills?
