Gameful is a private network! Anyone is welcome to join, BUT… we ask that you abide by the Gameful Code of Honor while you’re here.

Always leave a positive impact, and play with the monsters you like.

That’s it. We don’t have a bunch of rules. Just the one.

And trust us — you’ll know if you’re playing by the rule.

If you’re making other Gameful members feel encouraged, excited, helped, appreciated, curious, intrigued, motivated, and otherwise awesome… that’s a positive impact.

But if you notice that you seem to be making other Gameful members feel bad, harrassed, stressed out, threatened, bullied, or non-awesome in any other way… don’t do that stuff. That’s totally not gameful. Leave those monsters alone, and just play with the monsters you like.

Simple, right? Gameful is a positive community for a reason: It’s hard work making and playing games that can change the world. The last thing we need is flame wars, spam, bullying, or general Internet trollishness to stand in our way.

Anyone who breaks the Code of Honor will be asked by the Mayor to play nice. If the non-awesome continues to happen, then they will(sadly) be banned from the Gameful Secret HQ. (and possibly chased by hordes of rambunctious fiero monsters on their way out.)

P.S. Gameful is an infinite game — not a finite game. The goal of a finite game is to win — and therefore to end the game. But the goal of an infinite game is to keep the game going — and to keep as many people in the game as possible. The best way to keep the Gameful game going? Make a positive impact whenever you log in.
