I think that Caspian Learning (who make Thinking Worlds) have themselves produced a number of such sims - one for Great Ormond St Hospital and another one which is office-based I think. I don't know if either of them could be classed as an ARG but certainly a kind of RPG I guess. I also don't know if either of those sims are available publicly, but it's worth getting in contact with them via email - they're a small team of very helpful people, so tend to respond pretty quickly and willingly to requests for information and/or support :)
